Suburban Hobo

I was thinking of writing a book about moving to the Jersey suburbs after being a diehard New Yorker—grew up in Jackson Heights, Queens. A fish out of water story. The idea of a book seemed rather daunting, so my husband suggested starting a blog to recount some of my more absurd tales of living in the suburbs, commuting and our day-to-day life. I also wanted to share your stories, fellow travelers. So many are struggling to find their way in the New Normal. But the struggle does not mean that life stops. People like you and me still have stories to share about the things we do, both great and small. Let’s share them and laugh together, taking baby steps toward positive change and happiness.
